Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role is Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in an Drama Series. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her passion for the theatre. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre through Northwestern University. Anna began her career in Chicago performing in stage role for several years. Then she moved to Hollywood where she started acting in movies and television shows. Anna was chosen to play Arden on Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna played in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Then it wasn't until the late 1990s that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was one of her characters. Gunn appeared on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which was released in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's life.
